Maryam is the Legal and Compliance Director at Silicon Badia, leading all legal and corporate matters for the firm.
She manages a wide range of legal responsibilities, including overseeing all of the firm’s legal entities, ensuring corporate compliance, managing legal processes such as financing rounds, conducting legal due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. Additionally, as part of the firm’s commitment to sustainable practices, Maryam ensures the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards at both the Fund and portfolio company levels.
Before joining Silicon Badia, she began her career as a Legal Counsel Assistant at an international law firm, where she managed the Corporate Legal department and provided legal support to international clients. Maryam holds a degree in Law from the University of Jordan and an LLM in International Business Law with Distinction from the University of Essex.
